I decided to have a go at cheap and cheerful trees today. They still need another coat or two of paint before they are finished. I cut tree shapes from the card stuck them together in what would look like a Y from above (if you know what I mean) and painted them.I feel I need loads more but it gives an impression of what is to come.Let me know what you think...

They are quite effective there.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly look very effetive and well up to the task ... and should be easy to store in between games.

Alan - Can I suggest using Green card, to save on the painting! Or am I missing something?!

ReplyDeleteA cunning plan but moved to create I went with what was in (kellogs) and about.I have already planned to use pre coloured (so to speak) for the 28mm ones...
They look good, perhaps you could make any terrain like this from mountains to buildings using card or plywood...

Great idea - where would we be without cornflake boxes?
ReplyDeleteHi Trad,
ReplyDeleteEffective - as in the look and the price! That is certainly something to play around with - and with a daughter studying fine art I should be able to persuade her to try something similar (Can't get her to paint any figures though...).
All the best,

Love the trees! Might just have to try something like that here in Zum Stollenkeller.
